Nothing makes us happier than helping our community. That’s why we were honored and excited when Special Spaces and Marcia Moore Design asked if we would sponsor the transformation of a room for a very special young lady fighting cancer: Zephany. Special Spaces is a non-profit organization spanning 13 states, dedicated to creating personal, one-of-a-kind bedrooms for dependent children fighting the devastating effects of cancer.

Working alongside Kathleen Matthews and Jacey Whiteside from Marcia Moore Design, and Special Spaces co-directors, Teresa Hutton and Keelyn Schwegel, we met with Zephany and her mother to learn about her needs—and dreams. And then we got to work.

Together, on a hot and humid August Saturday morning, our team of volunteers worked together to transform Zephany’s room with all new bedding, furniture, wall décor, window coverings, lighting and more, giving her a comfortable space all her own. Even with everyone’s hard work and donations, it was Zephany’s smile that lit up the room when she entered her new room for the first time.

We’re proud to provide the best in electric and lighting services and even more honored to help our community. To learn more about HOLT and our dedication to the communities we serve, connect with a HOLT representative today!
