HOLT Electrical Supply Adds Seasoned Operations Manager to Arnold Location

ARNOLD, MO. — HOLT Electrical Supply, a St. Louis-based electrical supply house with eight locations across the region, recently welcomed Jade Schmidt as operations manager of the company’s Arnold retail location. 

HOLT’s Arnold location serves as a hub for electrical contractors completing projects in south St. Louis county, Jefferson county, and surrounding areas. The location not only provides products, but also offers services such as tool rental, wire trailers, quotation assistance, design support, and more. 

Schmidt took over leadership of the location in early January 2022, where he will oversee a specialized team of experts. A seasoned professional with a strong background in retail, Schmidt brings over twelve years of sales management, corporate leadership, and general management experience to HOLT. 

“We are grateful that Jade chose HOLT to start the next chapter of his career,” said HOLT company CEO, Ryan Holtzman. “He brings a lot of experience to the table, and we are both looking forward to learning from each other as we work together to grow our business in Arnold.”

Schmidt said that he chose HOLT because of a personal connection he felt with the company’s mission and culture. 

“It was clear right away that this is a place where people are transparent and straightforward, and I was looking for a family environment where people’s voices can be heard,” Schmidt said of his initial impressions of the company dynamic. “HOLT is doing a lot of the right things to grow the business, and I’m excited to be a part of it.” 

Schmidt is enjoying getting to know his employees and customers as he takes a hands-on approach to training. “I’m all about learning; picking orders, pulling orders, learning the needs of each of our customers every day and helping them solve problems.”

In his spare time, Schmidt enjoys woodworking projects, playing softball, and spending quality time with his family.
